• Bait and Switch Tactics unfair to AARP Members

  When I received the policy renewal for this year my documents I called Customer Service and explained there is an increase which was considered unacceptable since I had made no claims. As is usually the case, AARP Hartford's customer service personnel explained the increase was due to payouts by Hartford in my home area.  Full Review

• dont trust titan

  Sorry aarp I just want to make sure everyone knows When I cancelled my policy with titan I delt with ken ruese of the pleasant hill CA office never told me I had to sign any paperwork so they never closed my policy so now they say I owe them $317.79 ken ruese at first said we never had the conversation when we talked on the phone then when I went down there in person he didn't remember what was said he is either lying or incompotent either way don't trust people  Full Review

• Pleasant surprise

  After submitting our claim shortly after my mom passed, I started reading the reviews for AARP's life insurance. A good amount of them were very negative, so I expected the worst, since my mom was still within the initial two year period when she passed. Thirty days went by and I received the typical corporate letter stating that they were still investigating.  Full Review
