- I'm furious at Allied. My wife and I recently bought our second home and insured it with Allied. Everything was great until we got a letter in the mail saying they had cancelled our policy, with little explanation. When we called to ask them about it they rudely told us it was because we had been robbed in a different house, different state! more...
- Had a storm damage claim after the \"Storm of the Century\" came through our area last summer. Dealt with a very young claims adjuster from KC. He paid for some stuff, had interesting explanations for why he wouldn\'t pay for others, and found \"no damage\" to my siding. Two months later, got a letter from Allied saying that the very same claims adjuster stated my siding was in \"disrepair\" and I needed to have it replaced. more...
- i was better of if i did not have any insurance at all ,there lawyers are the best in hiding all there mistakes ,they finally payed the last portion of the damage after i spent three times as much money with court expenses ,lesson learned stick with a good provider and do not go for a cheap priced insurance ,they can ruin your life with pride if they choose to do so on your side! more...
- I had Allied homeowners insurance for 17 years and never had a claim. This spring our neighborhood was hit by a horrible hail storm. EVERY house in our culdesac had their roofs replaced by their insurance companies. Allied denied my claim. When I demanded a second assessment they hired an engineer for $1,800 to write a report that also denied the claim. more...
- I had to file a claim and the process went very smooth. I was expecting it to be as bad as my old company. But they were great. i recommend to all of my friends.
- originally switched from State Farm (rip off) to Allied due to the lower rate. Allied has a $5.00 per month per policy "service charge" fee.
I was two days late with a payment one time and they charged me a $10.00 "reinstatement fee" even though I was AHEAD on monthly payments! They also put coverage on my auto policy that I never asked for (towing) . more...

- After being a customer of Allied with both home and automobile coverage for 15 years, we received a form letter yesterday that our home owners policy would not be renewed. The reasons cited were 3 claims within the past 5 years. (one was a lightening strike hitting two 40-ft.+ trees...oh, sorry, Allied, I should have been more careful where to direct that lightening to hit! more...
- Under the assumption that homeowner's insurance was for repair of covered issues, I had a "so-so" response with evident bias towards the roof company for repairs...after nearly a year and recompensation in the form of separate checks for my new roof, I find my premiums are the only thing "off the roof". more...
- I have learn that it is a waste of time and money taking the to court ! our house burned down years ago with nobody at fault ,after they found out that our records were destroyed they produced a policy with reduced coverage , and they finally payed for there criminal mistake after they made sure we spent twice as much in court costs , i will recall them as evil players for the rest of my life. more...
- I had allied Homeowners Insurance for 17 years and never had a claim. This year a major hailstorm hit our neighborhood and all the homes had roof damage. EVERY home in our culdesac had their roofs replaced by their insurance companies. Allied denied my claim. When I demanded a second inspection, the hired an engineer for $1,800 to write a report that denied the claim also. more...
- I have been an Allied insurance customer for both Auto and home for years. I never had a problem until I attempted to review my homeowner's policy in November 2009. They told me that my coverage had been dropped since October 2007. I was shocked and immediately dug through all my payment records at home.
