- My condo was flooded over Thanksgiving wknd while I was out of town. Apparently this was caused by a leak from upstairs. Damage estimated at 30 - 35,000. Farmers offered me $10,000 or to go with the liability insurance offered by the company representing the person upstairs. I have $40,000 in out of home stay available to me and am currently in a residence inn. Full Review
- Farmers was charging us higher premiums than any other company we compared them against. So we decided to switch to another company. That's when our problems began.
Our insurance agent here in Washington, Angie Bueing, canceled our policy and then continued to bill us each month (we were on electronic auto bill pay, so didn't notice right away). Full Review - Farmers is the lowest rated insurance carrier there is. Just proof that they are a bunch of ill trained, half wits who don't know anything about how to handle a claim. This company will stop at nothing in order to watch their own backs while completely dismissing their customers needs and concerns. If anybody were to consider securing a policy with this carrier, you need to second guess yourself. Full Review
