- Farmers is the lowest rated insurance carrier there is. Just proof that they are a bunch of ill trained, half wits who don't know anything about how to handle a claim. This company will stop at nothing in order to watch their own backs while completely dismissing their customers needs and concerns. The claims department is #1 when it comes to helping the cusyomer through the claims process and informing the customer as to the progress during and after the claim.
