    I don't remember the end date of service but I started a policy with Travelers' in Florida.
    I maintained the same policy until the company told me they were no longer going to insure property in Florida be cause of the storm risk, etc. This time period was for several years because I kept the Property and it is now still a rental property.  more...

    The reason I am fairly rating USAA (based in San Antonio) only one star is because there was not an option to rate them no stars. My wife and I have been members(in Good standing" with USAA for 30 years now much to our dismay.   • ALLSTATE demands $100000 in repairs to renew my policy

    I have been with Allstate for 23 years beginning in 1988. In 2010 I had a pipe burst and incurred a claim that Allstate paid in the amount of $6127. In 2011, Allstate sent an incompetent contractor inspector who listed things such as peeling paint, and rusted out auminum)gutters as major deficiencies needing repair.  more...

    When I first Joined USAA around 1995 (You join because it is an association) they were the premier insurance company in the nation for price and customer service. You couldn't beat them on any product. Fast forward to the present however, and USAA is on a downward spiral.   • Bait and Switch

    I was given a quote for insurance and a month after signing up with Travelers I get a letter stating that an inspection was done and home was underinsured and the new payment was over $100 original cost. I had dropped my original one which even oferred more coverage than the new quote that cost me less that total.  more...

  • Roof Claim

    Had a major storm here in Florida during the rainy season and as everyone knows it can get pretty bad here, and my roof began to leak so bad that the ceiling inside was coming down in one room. while they got a adjuster out to look at it in a timely manner they decided the roof was leaking from normal wear.  more...
