- I filed a homeowners claim
  It has been nearly 4 months.. and still no resolution. Just an occasional "note" to advise me they are still investigating my claim.. Ummmm.. This happened to be property stolen from my home, documented by the police department, people arrested for the theft. and yet?? I have not been compensated.. Why do I pay insurance??? I have never filed a claim before. I dont feel this is normal or fair to drag it out. They say because I have no receipts, that is why it is taking longer.. Well, if this had been a home fire?? and you lost all receipts?? Would they do the same?? How about if I stopped paying my premiums and made them cover me anyways?? I dont believe that would work for them. This is a true joke!! more...
