SAFECO is giving me the runaround as well! After being rear-ended and forced into another car...the accident was witnessed by two police officers and what they witnessed is CLEARLY included in the police report, their client was issued a ticket, and even Safeco's own appraiser said it was obvious I was hit from behind and forced into the other vehicle, it has now been ONE MONTH and Safeco has YET to declare liability! They're still "undecided"!!!!!!
Now I'm broke...out of $4000 of savings I had one month ago and I'm now forced to pawn off all of the things most valuable to me, just to survive!
SAFECO has managed to destroy my life in a matter of days. And they couldn't care less!!!

I had an insured Safeco driver hit me from behind at about 60 MPH. I was lucky to be moving at 40 MPH or I would have been severely injured. Hit me hard enough to shatter the back window. It was a rainy night and he said he lost control on a curve. He had bald tires. I stopped and he almost hit me again. I think he fell asleep at the wheel. I have a lower back injury and they offered me $ 1300 to salvage my vehicle. The cost to repair was estimated at $ 2700. It is a rare vehicle . I can find only 2 like it, they are going for $ 4500 and $10500. The value they offered is less than 1/3 of the true value. I have sent them the values , they will not respond. I have fixed the back window and driving it. Has cosmetic damage only.
I had this vehicle about 80 % restored. What a cold hearted , screw the hurt party , this company is. I just want the vehicle repaired. I will not accept a salvage title. I will do all I can to show what a bad faith company Safeco is. I take this vehicle to a lot of car shows, I will have a flyer up near the damage with the Safeco company Logo and the story of their lack of any ethics and refusal to do the right thing and fix the truck. I plan to sue the driver and let him fight with the lowlife company. I have never felt more cheated in my life. This company should not even be in the insurance business.

I was unfortunate to be hit by one of their insured. 4 weeks after the accident, I was still unable to reach the person handlling my claim. They wouldn't return phone calls or emails. Finally, I had my insurance repair my car, and they had to get this unprofessional insurance company to pay them back and retrieve my deductable. Pray you are not hit by one of their insured.

This is the worst Insurance company in the world to deal with. I was hit by one of their "insured" and now it is run around after run around. They don't even know wether the guy actually has insurance with them or not! How can you not know? First they tell me he's covered, then they tell me that he's not and that I'll have to put the damages through my insurance! No flipping way! Don't listen to them. Now they don't know again. Their adjusters are the worst too. They don't know how to return phone calls. You know that thing with cord that rings and yout talk to people? Pick the dang thing up and dial my number! Losers! Hope that you never get into an accident with someone that is insured by them.
