Aggregated tracking information encompasses all of the information Avizion gathers through tallying page views throughout their sites. The purpose of gathering this information is to better improve the site’s content to serve the needs of the reader. This form of tracking serves to help advertisers and sponsors to better understand the demographics of the site’s audience, and therefore better tailor the type of advertisements on the page. Usage Tracking:

Avizion does track and catalog search terms that users enter in our Search function, but this tracking is not associated with individual users. The purpose of this tracking is to delineate which areas of information are most and least useful in order to better choose content for visitors’ use. We do not track what individuals read, but how well each page performs overall.

Cookies:

We may place a text file, called a ‘cookie’ in the browser files of your computer. The cookie does not contain personal information, although it will enable us to relate your use of the site to information that you have specifically and voluntarily provided. The only personal information a cookie can contain is information that you supply. A cookie cannot read data from your hard drive or read cookie files created by other sites. This allows our advertisers to place more effective ads on our site, and allows our users to receive advertisements that are pertinent to their needs. Because we don’t track the usage patterns of individual users, an advertiser or sponsor will not know which specific user clicked their ad. We will not disclose any information about any individual user except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process, or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public.

Security:

Avizion operates secure data networks, protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary. Only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our customers.
