Do not go with State Farm
This company is terrible. We had hail damage and they sent their claims rep to look at the roof and he denied that we had the hail damage after 3 contractors told us we did have hail damage and our whole neighborhood had their insurance cover their hail damage. But it was the way they spoke to me and handled our claim that really gets us. They sent us a letter stating we did have hail damage and some popped nails that needed to be fixed and to submit our receipts when the work was done. Apparently, they said the letter was sent to us in error because they did not identify the hail damage. A few weeks later they sent us a letter that they were canceling our policy because we did not fix the roof. As a lifetime customer who put in very very few claims over 20 years I feel they treated us terribly. Not helpful when you need them after you pay out lots of money through the years!
