Very Unhappy

In 2006, I had a terrible accident where a girl fell asleep, crossed the highway, hit me, and pushed me into a tractor trailer. I was airlifted to the hospital and do not remember any of it. When my mom and I contacted Erie they were not helpful. It was like pulling teeth to get them to help with anything. A month later when we finally got the police report we found out that the girl who hit me was also insured by Erie. I went ahead and got a lawyer because every time I tried to get help from Erie they treated me like the accident was my fault and were no help with anything. It was a fight to get them to pay medial benefits until my lawyer got involved, and it took 2 or 3 months for them to pay for my car and the things I lost. I was out of work for 4 months, could not walk for 3 months, and had some very serious injuries. I would never recommend this company; they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
