USAA Auto Insurance Review

Completely HORRIBLE

I was a USAA customer for 10 years, my wife for 20. We had never once filed a claim with them until I had an accident. They simply refused to honor the policy I had with them, outright refusing to pay to repair either vehicle involved in the accident. I spoke with a lawyer who said he sees this all the time with USAA. I now face a collection agency as USAA employs every possible tactic to avoid honoring the policy, from ignoring communication requests, to stalling, to lying, to simply saying they will not honor the policy. It is absolutely unbelievable. But when you think about it, USAA doesn't have to base their business on customer satisfactions since they are handed millions of servicemen and women. They have no incentive to try to keep their customers happy! I have, of course, canceled my policy with them and switched to a more reputable company. It doesn't do my any good to have a lower rate if I don't actually have the coverage I'm supposedly paying for... PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT USE USAA!
