Progressive helping fill in the bottom of the barrel
Being in the auto body industry has allowed me to see how all insurance companies in my area react. Progressive has always been a poor companie to deal with. They use the cheapest parts available to repair your car, they refuse to include necessary operations to restore your car to preloss condition. With these guys altho their response to a claim at first is fast, it is always a fight to get enough $$ to do a truely excellent repair on my customers car. Their adjusters are generally inexpierienced. Their estimates are generally low, requiring a supplement and a fight to get enough $$ to fix the damage. They are the only company that I have actually not been able to come to aggreement with (on occaision) and have sent cars away due to their non performance.
