USAA has since expanded to serve all members of the Armed Forces and all who served honorably in the US Armed Forces, as well as their families with property & casualty insurance, banking, life insurance, investment and financial planning products and services.

- I have been a long-standing customer of USAA. I have had my homeowners, car, and valuable personal property insurance policies with them, as well as many financial accounts (checking, credit card, CDs) for over 20 years. I am in the process of moving ALL my business from them because the one-time I needed them, they absolutely failed me! Full Review
- I was rear ended by one of USAA's insureds. In the past I have had a horrible time dealing with insurance companies in this situation. After experiencing a claim with this company I am seriously considering switching my own auto insurance to them. Many times people stress about getting low premiums and discounts when shopping for an insurance company not realizing that what matters is what happens when a claim occurs and you need them the most. - When I first Joined USAA around 1995 (You join because it is an association) they were the premier insurance company in the nation for price and customer service. You couldn't beat them on any product. Fast forward to the present however, and USAA is on a downward spiral. Their prices have increased, while their customer service is steadily decreasing. She was cited at the scene and when a claim was file with USAA they tried every angle to get us to admit some sort of fault until we sent them the accident report. - I called ussa auto tonight for road side assistance, they told me I dont have road side assistance no more, my policy was change in feb. I added a car to my policy in feb that was it. - After a fire in my workshop, I was told by USAA that I had replacement insurance. Their replacement was found to mean: #1 Send us a complete of items including date purchased, original price, model number. #2 I was then told we will replace after you buy a replacement and send us a receipt. #3 After buying the replacement items out of pocket and sending the receipt, USAA then d-valued the item and sent me a check for the difference. more...
